What is 'Study for a Day'?
SAE Byron Bay is offering the chance for enthused and motivated individuals to come and study at the $40 Million World Headquarters of SAE Institute for a day!

Who can come to Study for a Day?
We are inviting all individuals who are in Grade 10 and above to come and check out the college and learn either Audio Engineering or Film Making for one day. To apply for this exciting opportunity no previous experience is required!

What happens at Study for a Day?
Individuals who come to SAE Byron Bay for Study for a Day will become students at the Worlds Largest Digital Media College. The college itself has been given many accolades and is named as 'The Worlds Largest Recording Studio' by Apple Computers!

During the day students will be divided into the area of specialization chosen when submitting the application form:

  • Film - Students who choose to study film will be introduced to the creative world of Digital Filmmaking. During the day students will be shown all the basic concepts of film making including areas such as shot composition, lighting design, camera operation and direction!
  • Audio - Choosing to become an Audio student for the day will welcome you into the dynamic world of Audio Engineering. The day will encompass numerous areas of the audio industry such as studio recording and mixing, sound design, microphone technique and basic mastering concepts to name but a few. As part of this students will take part in a live recording session in our SSL-9000K studio which is valued in excess of $1 million! This amazing opportunity will give you a very brief insight into the world of music production and audio engineering, allowing you to guide yourself in the direction that will lead your future in the creative media industry.

When is Study for a Day?
The next SFAD will be held on Saturday 8th July.

Study for a Day is only $40 for the entire day!
